He's Jesse, a young American with an Eurail pass, on his way to Vienna to catch a cheap flight back home after a traumatic break-up, & She's Celine, a French student at the Sorbonne, on her way back to Paris after having visited her grandmother in Budapest. Both in their early 20s. They meet on a train in Austria. They start talking. There is a meeting of the minds and they like each other. Then he has this crazy idea: Why doesn't she get off the train with him in Vienna, spend time together until he catches his plane? Here 2 kids, literate, sensitive, tentative, intoxicated by the fact that their lives stretch out before them, filled with mystery and hope, and maybe love.
