Harajuku District of Tokyo

Crazy Teenage Fashion
The area has two main shopping streets, Omotesandō and Takeshita-dōri. Omotesandō has expensive fashion stores such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Prada - "Tokyo's Champs-Élysées". Takeshita-dōri caters to crazy youth fashions and has many small stores selling Gothic Lolita, visual kei, rock, hip-hop, and punk outfits. Come on Sundays to see Harajuku's youth culture. Each group has its territory in the area - Gothic Lolita and other extreme Japanese youth fashions, rock enthusiast with greasy hair, junk vendors and loud rock bands, and street performers including folk-pop singers, hip-hop dancers and street theater.
